Hacienda Colour Palette

The Hacienda was not just a nightclub, it was a cultural moment. Peter Saville's graphic design for Factory Records defined an entire aesthetic: bold yellow and black hazard stripes, raw concrete, strobe-lit darkness, and the occasional flash of acid house neon. This palette captures the club that changed Manchester and British music forever. For music brands, nightlife, editorial design, cultural projects, and anything that wants to feel like it belongs on a Factory Records sleeve.

Usage guidance

FAC 51 Yellow is the defining colour, the hazard stripe yellow that screamed across every Hacienda flyer. Use it for headings, primary buttons, and anything that needs to grab attention. Warehouse Black is your dominant background or text colour, the darkness of the club itself. Concrete grey softens the contrast for secondary elements, cards, and borders. Strobe White cuts through for highlights and clean space. Acid Orange is your accent for hover states, alerts, and moments of energy. The yellow and black together are the whole identity. Do not dilute them.
